Sarah Pramstaller, Director
Sarah Pramstaller is a proud graduate of Chantilly High School, where she was a four-year member of Touch of Class. Returning to Chantilly several years ago as the choreographer for Touch of Class, she is thrilled to now also serve as one of the choral directors in this esteemed music program.
Ms. Pramstaller holds a degree in Music Education from James Madison University. Having performed professionally in New York City, her notable credits include Broadway tours of both SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and The Who's TOMMY, regional productions of GREASE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, WEST SIDE STORY and more, as well as originating the role of "Lizzie Borden" in a modern Rock Opera currently playing Off-Broadway. Ms. Pramstaller has also won a Downbeat Music Award for outstanding jazz vocals and entertained the NYC party scene with her 80's cover band. Her transition from performer to teacher began as the premier vocal instructor and show director at The Paul Green School of Rock in Manhattan.
Ms. Pramstaller is happy to be home in Virginia and, once again, part of the choral tradition here at Chantilly. Her absolute favorite role, however, is being the mother of her very own little rock star, Jack.
We are sad to announce that this will be Ms Pramstaller's last year at Chantilly High School. The Chantilly High School choral families appreciate her work and dedication to the program and we will miss her.
