Congratulations to "Touch of Class," which has been named "America's Favorite Show Choir" in a nationwide vote by "Parade" magazine readers.
More than 50,000 votes were cast in the online competition, and Touch of Class topped high school show choirs from across the country for its first-place finish.
TOC Director Glenn Cockrell tells "Parade" that it's a "huge honor" to finish first, considering the talent of all the "great choirs" that were nominated.
The first-place finish added to an already-special year for TOC, which in 2010-2011 was celebrating its 25th Anniversary season. Just a few days before the big win, TOC performed at the Oct. 23 Arena Stage Homecoming Celebration.
And after the big win, the ladies and gents of Touch of Class were featured on the Fox5 Morning News. You can watch highlights of their morning appearances here.
